Saudi Health Minister visited Factory of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. A high official six membered delegate led by honorable Health Minister of Saudi Arabia Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Manae visited world standard modern pharmaceutical plant of Incepta. Honorable Health Minister of Bangladesh Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain MP and honorable State Minister of Health Mizanur Rahman Sinha MP were present at that time. Local MP Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin, Director of Drug Administration Professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industries Association S.M. Shafiuzzaman and Secretary General of Bangladesh Medical Association Prof. A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain were also present.
Technical Director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Mahbubul Karim delivered speech on factory infrastructure and technical facilities to the distinguished guests. Managing Director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Abdul Muktadir pointed out chronology of Pharmaceutical Industry of Bangladesh and future prospects of medicine export. After presentation, Saudi delegates inspected the manufacturing area and quality control facilities of the factory. Saudi health minister Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Manea and other guests expressed their satisfaction on the present infrastructure of the factory. Incepta is the first national company in Bangladesh to build a state-of-the-art Cephalosporin facility in a completely separate building from that of the non-Cephalosporins. According to cGMP regulations, separate facility for Cephalosporin manufacturing is required to prevent cross contamination with other penicillin products or non beta-lactum products.
